about kp

Ben Franklin said the only certain things in life are death and taxes. But, I say it’s death, taxes, sneakers, sports, and design. From scribbling friends’ names onto trapper keepers during class to filming music videos for local artists, I’ve always been enamored with creating things. I first discovered my love for design during my time as a student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign when I stumbled into an industrial design gallery that rocked my world. I was fascinated with the possibility of converting my habitual doodling & love for creating things into a career. Five years later, I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Design with a minor in Mandarin Chinese.

And as a former athlete (because my knee just refused to let me be great), I’ve always been drawn to sports. I found myself working as an Industrial Designer during the day, and spending my nights creating sports graphics, highlight reels, and branding packages for all of my friends who went on to play professionally. I became determined to combine the two things I loved: sports and design — So I quit my job, and haven’t looked back since. I’ve spent the last eight years of my life working for Top 25 NCAA Division I programs, Major League Soccer (MLS), and the National Football League (NFL).
